Next time you’re booked on American Airlines, better BYOP—that is, bring your own pillow, according to this story from USA Today. As a cost-cutting move, the financially-struggling airline is removing pillows from almost all domestic flights to save $375,000. The move comes after an earlier decision in November to remove pillows from its MD-80 planes.

What intrigued us most about the story though, wasn’t the news about the swiping of the pillows. It was the suggestion, by an American Airlines spokesperson, that passengers can use blankets to act as a pillow in a pinch.
