‘Forbes’ celebrates nanotechnology

Forbes has released its list of the Top Nano Products of 2005, focusing on “items where nanotechnology is significantly improving a process or product” and excluding “products using nanotechnology as little more than marketing fluff.” The list includes a new type of canola oil, a chewing gum, a face cream, a baseball bat and socks. And yes, the iPod nano, which comes in at No. 1 on the list. But the Forbes editors sound a bit reluctant to include the Apple product.
