Awhile back, we spent some quality time discussing the topic of underwhelming new corporate logos. Now there seems to be a burgeoning list of dopey new brand names. Yesterday, we wrote about Wonder Bread naming its new wheat product the hard-to-digest “White Bread Fans 100% Whole Grain” and today, we’d like to discuss “the CW.” What is it you ask? Why, of course! It’s the name resulting from the just-announced merger of TV’s two puny broadcast networks—UPN and the WB.
