The Holy Bible is out of the dock in Canada, and declared once again suitable for advertising purposes. In 2002, a Court of Queen’s Bench decision ruled that a man who placed references to Bible verses on homosexuality into a newspaper ad (shown here) was guilty of inciting hatred, specifically violating section 14(1)(b) of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code (you can look it up). Now, a Saskatchewan court has reversed that decision. Despite the four-year delay on deciding something so obvious, this should be greeted as good news for Americans, too.
