Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos is creating ads to support the Boston Police Department’s revamp of its decade-old Crime Stoppers tip line, which now includes an anonymous text-messaging system. From the press release: “Boston is the first city in the nation to give its citizens the ability to submit an anonymous tip from their mobile phone.” Pro-bono ads use the line “You are not to remain silent” and encourage squealers (er, citizens) to “Text the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).”
