Disney Bolsters Ad Sales Unit, Promoting Adam Monaco and Several Others

Disney is bolstering its advertising sales unit ahead of next month’s upfronts, naming Adam Monaco evp, Disney Advertising Sales, as well as creating a new multicultural solutions division.

Top line

Monaco has been elevated from his previous role of svp of sales for the unit, reporting to the division president Rita Ferro. He’ll now head up category, agency, local and political sales for Disney’s news, sports and kids linear and digital TV ad-supported streaming businesses.

“Adam has done a tremendous job developing unparalleled relationships with clients and marketers,” said Ferro in a statement.
