Peacock Leans Into Comedy, Reality in Expanded Originals Slate Following Covid Delays

When Peacock debuted nationally last July, it was only able to offer up a modest lineup of nine originals after Covid-19 production delays limited the new service’s inaugural slate.

But heading into spring, the streamer is finally serving up some more of the original series that NBCUniversal first announced when it unveiled plans for Peacock in 2019. Several of those shows were featured today at the Television Critics Association’s virtual winter press tour—starting with the Punky Brewster revival, which will premiere Feb.
