Victory Records, which was putting terrible hardcore bands into FYE bargain bins when I was in high school, have brought in Gilbert Gottfried to explain why people shouldn't pirate music. Gilbert is actually somewhat amusing here, but they're all missing the point. Pirates can basically be split into two camps: a) entitled jerks who refuse to pay for anything, and b) people who don't think popular music is worth the money. Neither group thinks minor or indie labels are rolling in cash, or considers them major wheels of the industry, so trotting that idea out as a straw man comes off as both disingenuous and desperate.
