Longtime AOL executive Kevin Conroy has elected to exit the Time Warner-owned Web portal to lead Univision’s varied digital operations, which the Spanish-language media giant is rebranding as Univision Interactive Media.

As of Jan. 12 Conroy, who was most recently AOL’s executive vp of global products and marketing, will take on the role of president of Univision Interactive Media, a division previously known as Univision Online. He’ll report directly to Univision CEO Joe Uva.

The eight-year AOL veteran held multiple positions at the Internet pioneer, touching everything from marketing strategy to AOL’s mobile and IPTV products.
