Cars.com has purchased a 60-spot that will air in the second quarter of the 2009 Super Bowl, set to air on NBC on February 1, the client confirmed today.

The spot will mark the second consecutive Super Bowl that the company has advertised in and will also kick off a planned $200 million marketing campaign that will run through most of next year. The company spent the same amount last year, calling the budget a record high marketing investment.
