The New York Times’ latest foray into TV brings a long-running medical mysteries column to the small screen. The first trailer dropped today for a new docuseries called Diagnosis, which will launch Aug. 16 on Netflix.

The show is based on Yale School of Medicine associate professor Lisa Sanders’ column in The New York Times Magazine, which she has published since 2002, and follows families looking for answers to undiagnosed diseases.

The show is executive produced by Scott Rudin Productions, Lightbox and The New York Times.
