The group video chat feature that was promised for Workplace by Facebook last month is now here.

Vice president of Workplace by Facebook Julien Codorniou announced the group video chat feature in an Oct. 26 blog post, saying at the time, “In the coming weeks, we’ll update Workplace Chat to include support for group video chat on desktop and on mobile. People will soon be able to click a button and instantly start a video call for their team.”

“The coming weeks” have arrived, as Mike Sharkey of the Workplace by Facebook marketing team announced in a blog post that the feature is now available to all users via desktop and mobile.

Up to 50 people can be included in group video chats on Workplace by Facebook, and Sharkey wrote, “Group video chat is available through Workplace Chat on the desktop and mobile apps. You can also use it with Chrome on the web. To make a group video call, create a chat group and click the video button to start a video chat with your team.”
