Radio’s recovery may not be as dramatic as local TV, but it’s still welcome change from last year. According to figures released Friday (Aug. 20) by the Radio Advertising Bureau, radio advertising grew 6 percent in the first half of the year to $8.2 billion. Second-quarter gains mirrored first-quarter’s, showing consistent growth. National spot continues to lead radio’s recovery, up 17 percent in the first six months to $1.3
