Night three of Conan O’Brien as new host of NBC franchise The Tonight Show scored a 4.3 rating/11 share in the metered markets. Comparably, that outdelivered CBS’ competing The Late Show with David Letterman (2.8/ 7) by 54 percent, and ABC’s combination of Nightline (2.7/ 6) and Jimmy Kimmel Live (1.2/ 4) by an average 121 percent.
Additionally, comparably, the 4.3 rating was up by 10 percent from Tonight’s current second quarter average (3.9), and lead-out Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (1.9/
