Gary Schneider has moved up to president and general manager of KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV, CBS Television’s duopoly in serving the Dallas-Fort Worth TV market.
Since August 2004, Schneider served as senior vp and senior manager.
Schneider succeeds Steve Mauldin, who was recently named president and general manager of KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV, CBS Television’s duopoly in Los Angeles.
“We are very pleased to have a proven leader with the experience and knowledge of the marketplace that Gary possesses taking the reins of one of our largest duopolies,” said Peter Dunn, president of CBS Television Stations, to whom Schneider reports.
