Bonten Media to Buy CBS Affil in Nashville

Bonten Media Group announced Monday (July 14) it is adding to its TV station portfolio with a deal to acquire WTVF-TV, the CBS affiliate in Nashville, Tenn., the 30th largest market, from Landmark Communications. The deal will give Bonten, formed in Nov. 2006 by Diamond Castle Holdings and former Emmis Communications TV president Randy Bongarten, the group’s largest market station.

Terms were not disclosed.
