To address mounting issues in the radio business, the Advertising Research Foundation announced Monday (June 15) it has revamped its Audio Council with a new mission and new co-chairs.

The revitalized Audio Council will provide a forum for examining ROI-driven research and planning issues and initiate pragmatic solutions to ensure the radio medium remains a major component in a multimedia environment.

Leading the Council and taking over for Dr. Tom Evans, vp of audio research and special projects and ESPN, will be Lorraine Hadfield, managing director, global radio audience measurement for Nielsen; and Kim Vasey, senior partner and director of radio for Mediaedge:cia.
