Fox Scores Huge Ad Revenue Boost From 2026 World Cup

Tubi’s World Cup streaming resulted in two of the highest traffic days in its history

The numbers:

$4.21 billion—Fox had a 28% increase in total quarterly revenue from the prior year.

78%—Increase in advertising revenue due to the first stages of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the continued growth of Tubi.

110 million—Monthly active users on Tubi for the fiscal year.

The watercooler talk:

No Super Bowl? No presidential election? No problem for Fox, as World Cup revenues more than made up for the absence of the NFL’s marquee game and major political programming.

During its fourth-quarter earnings call, Fox reported that its advertising revenue increased by 78% and full-year ad revenue was up 7%.
