Facebook’s Commerce & Ads IP Tool Is Now Brand Rights Protection

The ability to search and report Instagram accounts and posts was added

Facebook introduced a revamped version of its Commerce & Ads IP Tool Thursday, Brand Rights Protection.

Brand Rights Protection enables enrolled trademark owners to search and report content that they believe infringes on their intellectual property rights, and the revamp brings simplification to the process, as those rights holders can now upload and save up to 10 images to their account, such as logos and product images.

Facebook’s image-matching technology then automatically scans ads on the platform, enabling brands to more easily review and report content that may infringe on their IP.
