Amid Cornell Lawsuit, Take Back The Night Confronts Campus Sexual Assault Nationwide

The campaign takes the format of college admissions slogans juxtaposed with sobering campus sexual assault statistics

On November 1, college students across more than 40 campuses nationwide will gather in support of Cornell’s Jane Doe and survivors of sexual assault everywhere. The National Campus Take Back The Night Rally has become an annual fixture on college campuses, and this year’s event will also feature a marketing campaign created pro bono by Mischief @ No Fixed Address.

Titled “Every University,” as a stand-in for every campus in America, the campaign juxtaposes university-approved lines like “A thriving campus community” and “More than just a degree” with sobering statistics on campus sexual assault: for instance, 26% of women experience sexual assault on campus.
