Seeso, NBC's Comedy Streaming Service, Will Shut Down Later This Year

In a Facebook post today, Seeso announced it will be shutting down later this year. The NBC-owned streaming service, which launched in January 2016, was home to both original comedy series and libraries of content from NBCUniversal and Comcast. The SVOD’s future had been in question since earlier this year.

On the service’s Facebook page, Seeso reassured fans that some of its original series—including HarmonQuest and My Brother, My Brother, And Me—will continue streaming on a different platform, VRV, which
