Royal Pains Continues to Boost USA's Vitals

Royal Pains continues to heat up USA Network’s Thursday night line-up, as the third installment of the new drama series served up 6.5 million viewers on June 18, an increase of 16 percent versus the prior week’s delivery.

According to Nielsen live-plus-same-day ratings data, Royal Pains also showed big gains among the core demos, averaging 2.98 million adults 25-54 (up 15 percent versus the week ago), and 2.83 million viewers 18-49 (up 20 percent). Among 18-49s, Pains was Thursday night’s most-watched scripted series on all of television, beating out reruns of CBS’ The Mentalist and ABC’s Private Practice, as well as an all-new episode of NBC’s The Listener.
