Actress Mayim Bialik, who just two weeks ago was tapped to serve as the host of primetime specials and spin-offs of the long-running game show Jeopardy!, will begin filling in as a guest host of the show’s syndicated program after the show’s new host abruptly stepped down Friday.
Bialik, who has served as a periodic and well-regarded guest host of the show since the death of beloved longtime host Alex Trebek last fall, is scheduled to begin her guest-hosting duties once again this week when production on the new season begins, Sony Pictures Television confirmed today.
