Fox has order an additional nine episodes of its freshman drama Fringe, giving the J.J. Abrams created series a full season order.

In its most recent episodes, Fringe posted a solid 4.3 rating among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research data, up 5 percent from its week earlier episode. It also pulled in 10 million viewers, up 6 percent from 9.4 million the week before.

Fringe is also the one show Fox has experimented with its Remote Free TV concept, where the network is airing less commercials and shorter commercial pods in order to keep viewers more engaged.
