AMC is among the most cautious networks on the dial when it comes to development, so four pilot orders in one season is an absolute shopping spree: 1980's tech boom drama Halt & Catch Fire and 18th-century period piece Turn have been given the go-ahead by the prestige-y drama net, along with previously announced projects Low Winter Sun and an untitled project between The Fisher King screenwriter Richard LaGravanese and Tony Goldwyn, rumored to be going ahead with Prime Suspect co-star Damon Gupton in the leading role.

Halt & Catch Fire is created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rodgers; Breaking Bad producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein will produce.
