ACME Communications announced Thursday (June 17) the restructuring of its corporate management and operations. The changes follow the TV group’s recent deals to turn over management of its TV stations to LIN Media and the management of its syndicated morning TV program, The Daily Buzz, to Fisher Communications.

As part of the restructuring, the general managers at the company’s six stations will be eliminated and much of the company’s employee base. The restructuring is expected to save ACME about $600,000 a year, the company said.
