Former Westwood One CEO Launches Radio Net

NEW YORK Radio net Compass Media Networks opened for business on Thursday, founded by Peter Kosann, the former president and CEO of Westwood One and the current COO of radio group Connoisseur Media.

CMN launched with two products: daily morning show Free Beer & Hot Wings and Download HD, an audio imaging and production service that was formerly affiliated with Westwood One.

Free Beer & Hot Wings, a five-hour broadcast from WGRD-FM in Grand Rapids, Mich., was originally syndicated by Regent Communications.
