How will Trevor Noah fare as Jon Stewart's replacement on The Daily Show? We'll find out on Sept. 28.

Comedy Central announced that Noah, the South African comedian tapped in March as the show's new host, will make his debut at 11 p.m. that Monday night, seven and a half weeks after Stewart's final appearance on Aug. 6.

The Sept. 28 premiere date was revealed during Noah's first promo for The Daily Show, with the new host settling into Stewart's chair—a tad prematurely.

Comedy Central is thrilled about Noah's future with The Daily Show.
