WJBK, Fox Television’s owned-and-operated station in Detroit is extending its morning news program by an hour. Beginning Sept. 14, the market’s only all-local morning news program will air 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“The expansion of Fox 2 News Morning is a natural evolution for our station, as we continue to grow our already strong presence in the market,” said Jeff Murri, vp and general manager of WJBK.
