WNBC-TV announced the appointment Wednesday (Aug. 12) of three hosts for LX New York, the station’s 5 p.m. lifestyle program launching Sept. 14 as a replacement for the station’s ratings-challenged traditional newscast. None of the three hosts—Sara Gore, Siafa Lewis and Michael Flocker—are from the traditional local newscast talent pool, reflecting the station’s intent to offer programming that sets it apart from the pack.
