CBS has added a new affiliate in Bend, Ore., the No. 192-ranked TV market, signing an affiliation agreement with New Vision Television’s KBNZ-LP. The station officially signed on to the network Saturday, Oct. 25.

Prior to the agreement with New Vision, Television CBS did not have an affiliate in the market.
New Vision already has CBS affiliates in Portland, Ore.; Birmingham, Ala.; Mason City, Iowa; and Youngstown, Ohio.

“KBNZ is a full-service TV station in Bend with a program slate that mostly mirrors that of KOIN, our CBS station in Portland and KBNZ’s primary hub,” said Jason Elkin, chairman and CEO of New Vision Television.
