FarmVille company Zynga partnered with Time Inc.‘s People for the release of the latest game in its “With Friends” franchise: Crosswords With Friends. The free-to-play mobile game allows users to complete a themed crossword puzzle each day.
Through Zynga’s partnership with People, every Sunday, gamers will be able to play a crossword puzzle inspired by one of People’s popular topics (“Sexiest Man Alive,” “World’s Most Beautiful,” “Red Carpet”), one of People’s verticals (PeopleStyle, PeopleRoyals, PeoplePets) and more.
While the game sees players complete crossword puzzles on their own, social features allow users to compare their puzzle completion times on public leaderboards, as well as to compete with other players in in-game tournaments.

Crosswords With Friends is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. In addition to playing the game in the app, iOS users can play the game in iMessage while chatting with friends.
