Anything Can Go Down in Cosmopolitan’s Elevator

Resort's new spot features '52 Stories' of strange

Las Vegas' tony Cosmopolitan hotel lets the city's freak flag fly with its new TV spot for the luxury resort's “Just the right amount of wrong” campaign. This time around, the hotel's elevators are populated by dancing old folks, Great Danes, identically dressed adult twins, and cross dressers. Book that trip, friends! The Fellini-esque spot, dubbed “52 Stories” after the height of the year-old hotel, gives us a peek in minivignette form into what goes on in the elevators. It doesn’t capture exactly 52 stories, but maybe there’s a director’s cut destined for the Web. The one shown here—twisted but SFW—is from Digital Kitchen, the Chicago agency that’s already racked up a Cannes Grand Prix for digitizing the hotel’s interior. Does it make you want to hop a plane? Maybe if you have a thing for masked Mexican wrestlers and making out in confined spaces. Check out the spot below and last year's campaign launch spot by Fallon after the jump.
