Meet Lil' Poundcake, the Doll Who Gives Girls the HPV Vaccine A little jab'll do ya
There were no Michele Bachmann or Rick Perry skits on this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live, but the Republican politicians were there in spirit in this parody ad for Lil' Poundcake, "the sweetest doll on the block." Not only does the toy smell like frosting and text up a storm on her own cell phone, she's FDA approved to dispense the HPV vaccine! Marketing mantra: "The only thing you're gonna get infected with . . . is fun!" Designed to pump drugs into 10-year-old girls (only if they're not already pregnant!), the glassy-eyed doll is your daughter's new BFF. And man, is she quick on the draw with that syringe. Watch out, Mom, especially when you toss her spent plastic body into the medical waste bin. She doesn't like that.
