Week of Oct. 5 Morning News Ratings: CBS Mornings Grows

Today also registered gains in the advertiser-coveted demo.

CBS News’ CBS Mornings finished the week of October 5 as the only morning show to record gains in both total viewers and the Adults 25-54 demo. NBC News’s Today joined CBS News’ morning show in registering gains in the advertiser-coveted demo.

When looking at how it performed in the same week in 2025, GMA was down -4% in total viewers and -6% in the demo.

Today remained in first place in total viewers and the demo, with 2.859 million and 640,000 viewers, respectively, for the week that just ended.
