 -Live Plus 7 Day Ratings – Week of October 4, 2010:

Week three of the Live Plus 7 Day Ratings, which include DVR usage, have been released. Based on additional tune-in, CBS had five of the top 10 shows, 10 of the top 20, and 14 of the top 30, with freshman Hawaii Five tops once again at 3.13 million additional viewers. Among adults 18-49, ABC’s Modern Family (4.60 to 6.10 million each: +1.50 million) remained at the head of the class, followed by Fox’s House (4.00 to 5.40) and Grey’s Anatomy on ABC (4.60 to 6.00: +1.40 million each), Fox’s Glee (4.60 to 5.90: 1.30 million) and in a tie for the No. 5 spot — CBS’ The Big Bang Theory (4.10 to 5.30 million), NBC’s The Office (3.50 to 4.70 million) and CBS’ Criminal Minds (3.50 to 4.70 million: 1.20 million each).

 

In terms of growth based on percent gained, NBC’s Parenthood led with a 40.1 percent increase (5.18 to 7.26 million viewers), followed by Fox’s Fringe (+35.5 percent), The CW’s Supernatural (+34.9 percent), The CW’s Gossip Girl (+31.4 percent) and Fox’s Lie to Me (+30.1 percent). Many of the struggling shows tend to have noticeable DVR percent gains.
