Maximizing efficiencies in a down economy, Granite Broadcasting and
Barrington Broadcasting announced Monday March 2 they have agreed to
jointly operate TV stations in Syracuse, N.Y., and Peoria, Ill.
Under the terms of the joint sales and shared services agreement,
which began Monday, WTVH-TV, Granite’s CBS affiliate in Syracuse, will
be operated from the studios of WSTM-TV, Barrington’s NBC affiliate.
In Peoria, WHOI-TV, Barrington’s CW affiliate, will be operated from
the studios of WEEK-TV, Granite’s NBC affiliate.
