Fox Entertainment finally has its new CEO.

On Thursday, Lachlan Murdoch, executive chair and CEO of Fox Corp., announced that Rob Wade would take over as CEO of Fox Entertainment, effective immediately.

Most recently, Wade served as president of alternative entertainment and specials at Fox Entertainment. In the role, Wade was overseeing the network’s unscripted programming, specials and alternative development slate, including the company’s in-house production unit, Fox Alternative Entertainment.

“Since the formation of Fox Entertainment, Rob has been an integral part of the leadership team responsible for delivering on its long-term strategy of creating an independent media company built on broadcast, developing an owned content portfolio and maintaining a disciplined in-house infrastructure,” Murdoch said in a statement.
