Fox Business Network is taking a sporting shot at CNBC this week, buying local time on the network in key markets in a bid to induce more viewers to sample its evening lineup.

Beginning Monday, August 11, an FBN spot will appear on CNBC just before 5 p.m. EDT, running in the last local avail before the network throws over to three hours of Beijing Olympics coverage. (Specifically, featherweight and lightweight boxing.)
