McCann’s Tyler Turnbull Named WPP Creative Global CEO

Turnbull is leaving McCann after taking the top position in December 2025

WPP has tapped McCann global CEO Tyler Turnbull to be the next global CEO of WPP Creative, according to soucres close to the matter .

Turnbull is leaving McCann after taking the top position in December of 2025. In that time, he navigated McCann’s integration into Omnicom after its acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG), which created three global creative networks at the holdco: BBDO, TBWA, and McCann.

Previously, Turnbull worked at the now-shuttered FCB Global, where he is credited with revitalizing the agency’s Canadian outpost, landing clients like Home Depot, Air Canada, and BMW Canada. He became FCB’s global CEO in 2022.
