Richard Kelley was promoted Thursday (Sept. 2) to president and general manager for KNSD, the NBC-owned station in San Diego. He was most recently vp of sales for KNTV, the company’s owned-and-operated NBC station in San Francisco.

Kelley succeeds Jackie Bradford, who was promoted in July to president and general manager of WRC, the NBC O&O in Washington, D.C.

While at KNTV, Kelley is credited with creating new business initiatives for the station by collaborating with outside partners and clients to develop sponsorship opportunities tied to the community.
