Fisher Stations Sign Digital CW Pacts

Two CBS affiliates owned by Fisher Communications have signed an affiliation agreement to clear The CW Television Network on their digital multicast signals. The two stations, KIMA-DT2 in Yakima, Wash. and KEPR-DT2 in the Tri-Cities, Wash. will begin broadcasting CW programming March 31.

In addition to carrying CW’s prime-time programming, the stations will air local morning and late news produced by the CBS affiliates, as well as syndicated shows including The King of Queens, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Sex and the City, Married With Children, Still Standing and That ’70s Show.

“The CW Television Network is a terrific addition to our station lineup and will help us more completely serve our marketplace,” said Rob Dunlop, senior vp of operations for Fisher. “The CW nicely complements our CBS affiliates and we are delighted to be working with them.”
