Zynga celebrates 5th birthday of Words with Friends on mobile

Zynga is celebrating the fifth anniversary of Words with Friends with some big stats and news for fans. As many as 55 million matches are being played at any moment, with Apple previously rating the game as one of the best free apps of all time. Throughout this year of celebrations, Zynga will add new content to the game in the form of Weekly Challenges, among other updates.

More than half of Words with Friends players have said the game has helped strengthen their relationships with friends and family.
