Potter fans the world over are champing at the bit to witness history—the red carpet event before the final Harry Potter movie premiere on July 7.  If you suffer from Pottermania, you are in luck because YouTube has announced that they will be streaming the event live, featuring appearances from the entire cast as well as J.K. Rowling and a number of surprise celebrities.

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 red carpet event will begin streaming live on the Harry Potter YouTube channel on July 7 from 8-11AM PT, or at 11AM ET or 4PM GMT.  They’ll be rebroadcasting the event immediately after, in case you miss the live stream, or if you are so excited you want to watch it twice!

In a blog post announcing the live stream, Mildred Padilla of YouTube Movies reminds viewers that all seven previously released Harry Potter films, as well as two extended versions, are available to rent on YouTube.  She also points out that, “If that’s still not enough wizarding for you, YouTube also has unique movie-related content that can’t be found elsewhere, including behind-the-scenes footage, parodies and remixes to accompany all the Harry Potter films.” Just do a quick YouTube search for Harry Potter and you’ll be busy for hours!

Are you excited for the last Harry Potter movie?  Will you be watching the YouTube live stream of the red carpet premiere event?
