Wikimedia Foundation Bolsters Executive Team

Newstead joins the Wikipedia parent from nonprofit consultancy The Bridgespan Group, where he worked on the foundation’s five-year strategic plan, and he has also worked with The Boston Consulting Group. In his new post, he will be responsible for increasing readership and supporting editor self-organization in the global south, overseeing communications with the general public and the media, as well as activities aimed at supporting and developing chapters.
