What's Facebook Announcing On Wednesday? An Events Platform?

Facebook just sent out invites to members of the press for an event this Wednesday. What they’re announcing we aren’t quite sure yet, but given that it starts at 10 am and continues through lunch, we’d imagine that it’s something significant.

Just last week the company announced a major overhaul of the photos product, something we’ve been expecting for some time. According to recent reports, the company was in the process of significantly upgrading the groups and events products as well.
