What Will The Google Phone Mean for eBooks?

From a cryptic blog post on Google’s official blog to clues from Google employees Twitter posts, rumors ran rampant this weekend that Google has indeed developed its own iPhone-style mobile phone. The phone folks have been a-tweet about–the existence of which is now all but confirmed–is apparently made by the manufacturer HTC, but designed from top to bottom by Google, and runs Android version 2.1. It will be unlocked, meaning users can choose their service carrier.
