Uber updated its uberPOOL option in Manhattan, introducing $5 flat pricing for rides starting and ending in Manhattan below 110th Street between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
With this update, users can request a “POOL” pickup within the application, and they will be directed to a nearby street corner for pickup. Once a user is picked up, they will ride toward their destination, and their driver will pick up and drop off other uberPOOL passengers along the same route.
