"Tweet Outrage" Directed at Katie Couric

A netroots campaign is being organized on Twitter related to Katie Couric’s appearance at USC earlier this week. On Wednesday, Couric accepted a Walter Cronkite award for her campaign reporting, especially her interviews with GOP VP nominee Sarah Palin. Outside the hall, filmmaker John Ziegler, who is producing a film on Palin’s run, was being handcuffed by University security guards. (video after the jump)

Well, this morning, a group called Accuracy in Media is asking its followers to direct their “tweet outrage” at Couric.
