Total Site Renovation for iVillage

Women's-targeted online destination iVillage announced a total site relaunch, under which categories will launch individually in phases, starting with its Entertainment section, which will launch Wednesday, and followed by Food, Health, Parenting & Pregnancy, Home, Beauty & Style and Astrology. The new Entertainment site will focus on celebrity news, movies and television shows that women care about most, including what to watch with their kids. iVillage also announced that Serena Kappes from People.com is now on board as the new editor of the Entertainment site, adding that she has nearly two decades of experience in entertainment news reporting. iVillage said its new site will fully integrate content with social-media features and mobile applications, as well as offering tools such as a meal planner that connects to a woman's health profile. iVillage chief content executive Angela Matusik on the new Entertainment site: Our community uses the latest celebrity news and drama to spark conversations about what really matters to them.
